Daniel Mobley

Daniel Mobley (‘Dan’) was appointed as Global Corporate Relations Director and as a member of Diageo Executive Management Team in June 2017. He is responsible for managing Diageo’s reputation and positive impact on society, leading the government, communications and society teams across 180 countries, where Diageo makes and sells its brands. Dan is also a Board Member of the International Alliance for Responsible Drinking (IARD), which brings together the largest global alcohol companies to tackle misuse. He is the Grantee of the Royal Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen held by Johnnie Walker and a Council Member of the Scotch Whisky Association.

Prior to joining Diageo, Dan held a variety of roles in Corporate Relations at Standard Chartered in London, Mumbai and Johannesburg. He moved to private sector after eight years in UK Treasury, latterly as Private Secretary to the Permanent Secretary and had a brief spell with the Foreign Office in the UK Representation to the European Union in Brussels. He has also worked for a Trade Union, Environment and Development NGOs and the United Nations Association.

Dan holds a degree in Philosophy and Politics and an M.Phil in International Relations, researching peacebuilding in Asia and Africa, both from the University of Oxford.
