Positioned to sell with an Indian origin story, PIPA is a spiced rum which is distilled in Goa from local jaggery. It is then matured for a year in Port Wine casks imported from Portugal and as a finishing touch, a touch of jaggery and three spices (black pepper, cinnamon, and clove) are added, which were the reasons the Portuguese explorers came to the Malabar Coast.
