Chinmay is an accomplished HR leader with over 22 years of experience across leading global organizations including Procter & Gamble (2003–2012), Philip Morris International (2012–2020), and GlaxoSmithKline (2020–2026).
He has held diverse roles across HR domains—Factory HR, Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partnering—at country, regional, and global levels. Chinmay is passionate about driving transformational change and has a strong track record of building inclusive, high-performance cultures. He focuses on developing talent and leadership, helping individuals align their personal purpose with organizational vision. He is also an accomplished coach, with a focus on enhancing leadership capability and performance effectiveness.
Chinmay has been recognized as one of the “Top 20 Asia HR Directors” by HRD Asia (2020) and among “India’s Most Impactful CXOs” by ET Now (2023).
In his most recent role, he led HR for GSK’s Performance Emerging Markets region, spanning Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Prior to this, as CHRO of GSK India, he led the cultural transformation of a century-old organization into a more agile, innovative, and technology-driven enterprise.
Chinmay has lived and worked in India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Switzerland. He holds qualifications from the University of Rajasthan (Jaipur), SCMHRD (Symbiosis, Pune), and Cornell University (New York). Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis, listening to Indian semi-classical music, and reading autobiographies.
